Dr. Yusuf Erkan Kılıç, born in 1954 in Erzincan, graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1977. He completed his General Surgery specialization at Prosper Hospital Akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus der Universität Bochum in Recklinghausen and performed Turkey’s first laparoscopic appendectomy. He has been working at Intermed Çiftehavuzlar Polyclinic since 2011.
